925 Sterling Silver

826 jewelry is 925 Sterling Silver (92.5% pure silver & 7.5% copper). Each piece is coated with rhodium electroplating and/or 14k Gold plating for durability and shine. Also Nickel & Lead Free.

How do I clean and keep my jewelry like new?

All jewelry from 826 will come in a velvet bag with a polishing cloth and tarnish tab to clean and maintain the beauty of your jewelry.

To make your jewelry last longer keep it stored individually or in small plastic bags/containers. Mixing them with other fashion jewelry for long periods of time can sometimes cause erosion. 

Tarnish Tabs

Anti-tarnish tabs absorb corrosive gases in the air to keep the air toxic free for your jewelry. These tabs are biodegradable, non-toxic & most importantly safe. This tab will keep your jewelry tarnish free for up to 12 months if used correctly.

When the tab needs to be replaced it will turn from Black to Brown.

For the best results place tab in a bag with jewelry or a jewelry box. These tabs protect all types of metals like Silver, Gold, Pewter, Copper & etc.

Size of tab is 1 inch

Tarnish tabs have a self life of 5 years in packaging provided by vendor as long as the packaging is sealed tightly.

 Things to avoid!

To maintain your jewelry, please keep in mind that detergents and lotions can slowly erode the finish off of all types of jewelry.  Keep your items away from chlorine bleach and all household cleaners.  These will cause damage to the item and stones.  Jewelry should always be removed before swimming, bathing, and washing dishes.
